If you put together the family tree of the Stelvio, you will find that its roots go back to the 2003 Kamal concept. More than ten years have passed and a model that draws inspiration from the concept is now coming to the fore. Let’s take a look at the new model by which Alfa Romeo decided to attack the competition.
Stelvio’s sporty design does not surprise, nor does it hurt
At the front we can see the classic Alfa sports grille and a relatively aggressive bumper. There is also a very lively hood and a few other details that are really appealing. However, the side profile offers the same view as Quadrifoglio, including tinted glass, side mirrors and sloping roof line. There are also 18-inch alloy wheels. That’s all Stelvio’s surprise. It’s beautiful to look at, but it does not bring anything that would shock. Maybe it’s good.
The interior does not go far, but it offers a standard
The interior is quite dazzling compared to other models in the set. There is an integrated information display, a practical center console, support seats, HVAC holes and a sports steering wheel. There will also be leather seats, a remote start, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a back-up camera and plenty of extra equipment, but will be for a fee. Therefore, the interior does not offer any extra adhesion or materials, on the other hand it has a relatively rich basic equipment, which is sufficient for maximum driving comfort.
What’s under the hood of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio
The first wave will offer a supercharged 2-liter four-cylinder engine that offers power with 280 hp and 306 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from zero to one should handle the model for a beautiful 5.4 seconds and a maximum speed of 230 km / h.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio looks good everywhere. The decent performance alternates with a pleasant interior and modern design. Overall, the model does not offer anything new, and over time it will fit into an already-filled segment.
